I want to voice my opinion about an article written today by the GuelphToday Staff called "Guelph Teen Who Spoke With Prime Minister About Mental Health Says Budget Doesn’t Go Far Enough". Below I have written my response to the recently published article:

Governmental meetings on mental health are not enough. The health minister and Prime Minister are both people who must understand this and make forth an effort to change the ways of the current system.

Creating a secretariat of mental health and addictions is a great idea in my opinion. It would not take time away from the health minister’s other duties and interests but would allow for an educated professional to make a difference for the current suffering Canadians.

The current system of holding annual meaningless meetings has shown no progress over the years. Change is needed.
