Drop-in clinics available for those eligible for fourth dose

People ages 18 and over can now get their fourth dose of a COVID vaccine. Appointments for fourth doses of the COVID vaccine are available in Guelph and surrounding municipalities. 

“Getting a fourth dose is important particularly as cases are increasing across our region and throughout Ontario,” said Chuck Ferguson, manager of communications at Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, in an email.

“Get a fourth dose from wherever is most convenient including your physician, local pharmacy or WDG Public Health. Our clinic times can be found at wdgpublichealth.ca/drop-ins,” said Ferguson.

A vaccine clinic is open in Guelph at Stone Road Mall with the following dates and times.

July 20: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

July 22: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

July 27: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

July 29: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Aug. 3: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Aug. 5: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

There is a vaccine clinic in Puslinch at the Puslinch Library on 29 Brock Rd. S. with the following dates and times.

July 22: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Aug. 26: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

In Fergus spots are available at Wellington Dufferin Public Health at 490 Charles Allen Way with the following dates and times.

July 21: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

July 27: 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

July 28: 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Aug. 2: 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Fergus also has a clinic open by appointment only at Groves Memorial Assessment Centre at 235 Union St. E. with the following dates and times.

Monday: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Friday: 11:30 a.m.– 4 p.m.

Saturday: 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

A clinic in Mount Forest is open at the Mount Forest Library at 118 Main St. N. with the following dates and times.

July 19: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Aug. 23: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Mount Forest also has a clinic open by appointment only at Louise Marshall Hospital at 630 Dublin St. with the following dates and times.

Tuesdays: 2:30 p.m.– 4:45 p.m.

A clinic in Palmerston at the Palmerston Library at 265 Bell St. with the following dates and times.

July 26: 10 p.m. – 1 p.m.

Aug. 30: 10 p.m. – 1 p.m.

Drayton has a clinic at the Drayton Library at 106 Wellington St. S. with the following dates and times.

Aug. 16: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Erin has a clinic open at the Erin Library at 14 Boland Dr. with the following dates and times.

Aug. 17: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Arthur has a clinic open at the Arthur Library at 110 Charles St. E. with the following dates and times.

Aug. 11: 5 p.m.– 7 p.m.

Clifford has a clinic open at the Clifford Library at 7 Brown St. N. with the following dates and times.

Aug. 12: 1 p.m.– 4 p.m.
