19 year old charged with driving over twice the speed limit in Stone Road area

A Burlington male was taken off the road and had his vehicle impounded after he was caught driving more than double the speed limit in Guelph Thursday, report Guelph police

Approximately 3:10 p.m., the Guelph police traffic unit was on patrol in the area of Stone Road East and South Ring Road when he clocked a Mercedes motor vehicle travelling 104 km/h in the posted 50 km/h zone.

A 19-year-old Burlington male is charged with stunt driving and speeding. His licence was suspended for 30 days and his car impounded for 14 days.
