Additional suspects charged in Waterloo Avenue drug bust

It was previously reported that on Nov. 29, police executed a search warrant at a Waterloo Avenue address as a result of suspicious activities in the neighbourhood.

There were three persons apprehended and charged as a result of this project.

On Dec. 4 just after midnight, a fourth person who was being sought by police in regards to this incident was seen in the downtown area on a bicycle. He fled on the bicycle when he was approached by police, but was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

The 29-year-old Guelph man was charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and breach of probation. He was held in custody to appear in bail court.
