Two stabbed in Downtown Guelph

Both men were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries, treated, and have been released from hospital

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after two males received stab wounds during an altercation downtown early Saturday.

Emergency personnel were called approximately 2 a.m. to the area of Macdonell Street and Wyndham Street North where they located two injured males.

The males were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and have since been released and are recovering at home.

Anyone who witnessed the altercation or has information is asked to call Detective Constable Brendan Campbell of the Guelph Police Service Major Crime Unit at 519-824-1212, ext. 7177, by email, leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous tip online.
