Approximately $10,000 in tools were stolen over the weekend in a break and enter at a work site.

Monday morning, police were called to an address near Woolwich Street and Powell Street just north of Downtown Guelph. Sometime over the weekend, someone gained access to a building under construction by forcing open a boarded-up window.

Almost all the tools which had been on site were stolen including drills, saws and batteries.
