On Dec. 22, 2019 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Guelph police officer was at the Guelph General Hospital for an investigation not related to this incident. While at the hospital, the officer is alleged to observe a male smoking a substance out of a glass pipe, just outside of the hospital.
Investigation led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Guelph male for possession of a controlled substance (suspected to be methamphetamine).
