On Nov. 24, 2019, the victim, a 24-year-old Guelph male and three other people were inside a residence located near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North in the City of Guelph. An argument ensued and the accused shot the victim in the left thigh. The accused and the other male then fled the residence, leaving in a black Pontiac Torrent SUV.

The victim was eventually transported to the Guelph General Hospital for treatment for the serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound he sustained as a result of this incident. He was treated and released from hospital.
