On Aug. 18, 2020 at approximately 10:35 p.m., the Guelph Police Service responded to the report of an injured male at a business near Gordon Street and Harvard Road in the City of Guelph.
The Police investigation revealed that a 52-year-old male victim had sustained multiple stab wounds during an altercation with another male. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The responsible party was located a short distance from the scene and placed under arrest.
A 34-year-old Guelph male has been charged with aggravated assault and breach of probation. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
