Guelph police are investigating after a break and enter at a south-end jewelry store.
Approximately 2:45 a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to an alarm call at Stone Road Mall. Officers arrived to find an exterior glass door on the Scottsdale Drive side to be smashed. A jewelry store in the mall had a display case smashed and an undetermined amount of product was stolen.
The suspect was caught on surveillance video. He is described as a white male wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, a red baseball hat and gloves and carrying a sledgehammer.
