Just after 5 a.m. on Dec. 1, police were alerted to a male that appeared to be breaking into a building on Meyer Drive. When police arrived, they located a male that was taking lumber from the property.
The male was arrested and found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine.
Twenty-nine-year-old Stephan Piche of Guelph was charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance. He was later released to appear in court on Dec. 29, 2017.
