A 24-year-old from Guelph is facing charges following an investigation by the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police into reports that a known person broke into a home, caused damages and threatened the resident, according to a news release.
Officers responded to a call April 22 in Guelph/Eramosa. Following an investigation a suspect was charged with break, enter a place, commit indictable offence and utter threats - cause death or bodily harm, contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused was held for bail.
