Car locked in by radar well over posted speed limit north of city

TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA - On Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at approximately 7:00 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6, north of Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a red coupe aggressively weaving through traffic and driving at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 130 km/h, exceeding the posted speed limit by at least 50 km/h.

34-year-old Tyler Wilson Little of Fergus has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 17, 2018. His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
