Comfort Inn robbed at gunpoint

On June 22, at approximately 2 a.m., the Guelph Police Service responded to an armed robbery at a the Comfort Inn Hotel in the north end of Guelph.

A lone individual entered the hotel and brandished a firearm in front of a hotel staff member and demanded cash. After receiving the cash the suspect fled the area. No one was injured as a result of this incident. 

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male medium build in his 20’s and is approximately 5’11”. He was wearing dark coloured clothing. If anyone was in the area of Woodlawn Road and Silvercreek Pkwy N around 2:00am please contact D/Cst Cameron McKeen at 519-824-1212 ext 7361 or contact Crime Stoppers.
