Guelph police are investigating after two expensive pieces of equipment were stolen from the fenced compound of a business.
On Tuesday morning, police were called to a business on Victoria Road South near Elizabeth Street. Overnight, a male cut a fence to gain entry to a compound and stole a generator and trash pump with a total value of $3,400.
Video surveillance revealed the male dragging the two pieces of equipment out of the compound approximately 1 a.m. and hiding them beside a neighbouring business. More than three hours later a vehicle is seen attending the area and the equipment is loaded in the back.
The first suspect is described as a male of average height and weight. He was originally wearing a camouflage hoodie and later a light-coloured hoodie with a blue square logo on the front. He was also wearing black pants, a black backpack and a blue medical mask and was riding a red bicycle with yellow front forks.
The second suspect was wearing a blue medical mask and driving a red Nissan Rogue SUV.
