Crime of the Week: 8 vehicles damaged during theft at Guelph business

CRIME STOPPERS OF GUELPH WELLINGTON

Sometime over the weekend between Saturday Oct. 1 and the morning of Sunday Oct. 2 2022, a theft occurred from Oosterveld Heating and Air Conditioning, located on York Road in Guelph.

Suspects caused damage to eight work vehicles, rendering them inoperable. Full tool kits including drills, Sawzalls, pipe shears and nitrogen cylinders were stolen from each vehicle. Total value for theft is over $25,000 and the damages are estimated over $12,000.

The suspects are described as two males of average height with medium builds. One was wearing a blue bandana over his face, grey pants, and black Nike shoes. The other had a coloured design on the back of his hoodie, black pants, and gloves. They were driving a dark-coloured GMC Sierra pickup.
