Downtown building entered, vehicle broken into

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a downtown break-in.

The incident happened at about 3 a.m. Wednesday. Someone pried open a side door at a Yarmouth Street building and took the elevator to the parking garage.

There, the side window of a vehicle was smashed and a wallet taken.

At the time of the break-in, the suspect was wearing a black, shiny, puffy coat with dark pants, tan boots and a mask.
