On the afternoon of Aug. 5, 2019, police were notified about a hit-and-run collision that occurred on the west end of the city. Police were able to track down the responsible vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver.
A 52-year-old Guelph male has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration, and failure to stop after accident.
He will appear in court on Aug. 23, 2019.
