A driver of a sedan was charged for failing to stop at a red light after colliding with a school bus at the intersection of Gordon Street and Lowes Road East.

A 72-year-old Guelph female was charged Thursday after her car collided with a school bus.

The woman driving a white Nissan sedan was charged with failure to stop at a red light at the intersection of Gordon Street and Lowes Road East after hitting a bus carrying 21 occupants including the bus driver.

Guelph Police Service media relations coordinator Scott Tracey confirmed that the woman was taken to the hospital for the treatment of minor injuries. None of the bus occupants were injured.
