A Guelph man is charged with impaired driving after blowing more than four times the legal limit, Guelph police report.
Approximately 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a west end address after a witness observed a man stop his car and stumble towards his residence. Officers spoke to a man and observed him to be unsteady on his feet.
He was arrested and transported to the police station, where breath tests revealed he had more than four times the legal amount of alcohol in his system. Investigation also revealed he is currently bound by two driving prohibitions.
A 62-year-old was charged with impaired operation and two counts of driving while prohibited. He was held for a bail hearing.
