An elderly woman was treated for a head injury after a collision in a parking lot Thursday morning, Guelph police report.
Shortly after 8 a.m., staff of a business on Silvercreek Parkway North called to report a blood-covered elderly woman shopping in the store. She seemed confused but told staff she did not need assistance.
Investigation revealed the woman had driven into the parking lot and struck a light post before parking her car and going inside. The 82-year-old was transported to hospital for treatment.
