Police report a Guelph female observed doing her makeup while driving Sunday evening has been charged with careless driving.
Approximately 7:30 p.m., a Guelph police officer on patrol in the area of Wellington Street West near the Hanlon Expressway observed a speeding motor vehicle. The officer noted the female driver was brushing her hair and applying makeup and did not have any hands on the steering wheel.
The motor vehicle was pulled over. A 44-year-old Guelph female is charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
