Guelph Police responded to 226 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enter
On Dec. 5, 2019, the Guelph Police attended to a Freeman Avenue address for the report of a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered a residential garage and stole a bicycle worth approximately $1,000. The bicycle is described as a Rocky Mountain Element bike, brown and green in colour. Then entry is believed to have occurred between Dec. 4 at 10:30 p.m. and Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.

Male arrested on a warrant
On Dec. 5, 2019 a 35-year-old Guelph male was arrested on a 1st Instance warrant. He was later released with a court date of Jan. 17, 2020.

Over the past 24 hours, the Guelph Police Service dealt with 226 calls for service.
