assault with a weapon, unwanted male

The following is a news release issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On Feb. 15, 2018 at approximately 1:15a.m., Guelph Police were called to a downtown Guelph licensed establishment, where there was a male being belligerent as he was being escorted out of the establishment by employees. The unwanted male then threw a metal pole at an employee. No serious injuries were reported.

A 20-year-old Niagara Falls male was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon. He was given a March 27, 2018 court date.
