Bank card stolen from vehicle

The following news release was issued by the Guelph Police Service:

On June 22, a Kent Street resident to police that his vehicle was entered overnight on and a bank card was taken from inside. It was later learned that card was then used to “tap” a purchase at an area gas station by 5 a.m.

For the most part, this crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
