A 21-year-old Guelph man faces speeding and stunt driving charges after being spotted by police Wednesday travelling nearly double the speed limit in the west end.
Police pulled over a blue Nissan near the municipal border at about 7:30 a.m. after first seeing it in the area of Wellington Street West and Fife Road.
In addition to the charges, the accused had his driver's licence automatically suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for a week.
