Six people, including two youths, face drug trafficking charges after search warrants were executed in Guelph early Friday morning.

In summer 2023, the Guelph Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit began an investigation into two individuals. Through ongoing investigation, grounds were formed to believe the two were in possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking.

Early Friday morning, search warrants were executed at two addresses in the area of Silvercreek Parkway North and Paisley Road.

As a result, officers seized more than $80,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine and oxycodone, as well as drug paraphernalia, a pellet gun and more than $1,700 in cash.

A 33-year-old Guelph woman, 30-year-old Guelph man, two 28-year-old Guelph men and two 17-year-old Guelph males are all charged with multiple counts of possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking. All were held to appear in bail court Friday.
