A Guelph male faces several charges after an adult female reported he allegedly forced his way into her apartment and touched her inappropriately.
The victim called police Saturday to report the incident which occurred in May. She said she answered a knock on her apartment door and her neighbour pushed his way inside. He touched her over her clothes and refused to leave until the victim threatened to call police.
The female recounted several other occurrences in which the male followed her and made explicit comments to her even after she asked him not to.
On Saturday afternoon, Guelph police attended the male’s residence in the north end of the city and arrested him. A 60-year-old Guelph male is charged with break and enter, sexual assault and criminal harassment. He was held for a bail hearing Monday.
