Guelph man arrested after allegedly using stolen credit card

Police say the accused used the card at three local businesses

On Aug. 13, 2020, a 29 year old Guelph male attended to three local businesses in the city's south end and used a stolen credit card to purchase merchandise. The accused was identified and a warrant was sought as Police formed grounds to arrest the male for the following charges; three counts unauthorized use of credit card, three counts possession of property obtained by crime and three counts fail to comply with undertaking.

On Aug. 24, 2020, Police located the accused in the city's downtown core and he was arrested for the above mentioned charges. He was further released on an Undertaking with conditions and a court date of Dec. 8, 2020, at 9:00 a.m..
