Guelph man arrested for online child porn offences

A 52-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possessing, distributing and accessing child pornography

A Guelph male faces child pornography offences after a search warrant was executed Wednesday at his residence, say Guelph police.

Members of the Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) and Technological Crimes units, as well as uniformed patrol officers, executed a warrant at a residence in the area of Edinburgh Road South and Wellington Street West. Evidence was recovered and a male resident arrested.

A 52-year-old Guelph male is charged with possessing child pornography, distributing child pornography and accessing child pornography. He will appear in a Guelph court September 3, 2021.
