Guelph man charged in connection with Waterloo construction site break-and-enters

On Friday, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Break, Enter and Vehicle Theft team with the assistance of Guelph police completed a search warrant at a residence on Raymond Street in Guelph and arrested a 43-year-old male in connection to break and enters at construction sites.

On April 18, 2021, and April 22, 2021, police responded to reports of break and enters at construction sites where work vehicles and storage containers were entered and various tools were stolen.

As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old Guelph male has been charged with a number of offences including two counts of break and enter, possession of stolen property and trafficking in stolen property.

As a result of the search warrant, police recovered numerous stolen items.
