On afternoon of July 15, there was an altercation between two males that were known to each other in a Dawson Road parking lot. That incident escalated when one of the males (allegedly) assaulted the other and then threw a green propane tank through the windshield of the victim’s car as he tried to disengage and drive away in his vehicle.

A warrant for the suspect was obtained for the charges of assault, mischief and breach of probation. On July 18, the suspect was located in Kitchener by the Waterloo Regional Police.

Nathan Fowler, a 33-year-old Guelph man, was arrested and returned to Guelph. He was later released to appear in a Guelph court on Aug. 22, 2017.
