Guelph man faces nine counts of theft

Police believe he's responsible for numerous break and enter incidents

Between Aug. 2 and Aug. 5, 2019, multiple thefts, including a break and enter to a storage unit, occurred from the yard of a business on the east end of the city. The responsible male [allegedly] attended to the property three times during that time period to commit the thefts. Scrap metal and various other items were stolen. [It is alleged that] the same male had previously stolen from this property in July 2019. Police were able to locate the male and subsequently arrested him.

A 47-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
    •    break and enter - commit (theft)
    •    theft under $5,000 x3
    •    theft under $5,000 x6 (charges in relation to the July 2019 incident)

He will appear in court on Sept. 20, 2019.
