Guelph man faces weapons charges

On May 27, 2019 at 9:20 p.m., Guelph Police went to a Carden Street building for the report that a man was in possession of a taser. Police located a man matching the description in front of the building. Investigation did not discover a taser but the man was in possession of a prohibited knife that opened with a spring assist and he was arrested.

The 32-year-old Guelph man has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to order and two counts of breach probation.

He will appear in court on July 12, 2019.
