Guelph man wanted after collision with police cruiser

On March 28, 2019 at 10:12 p.m., Guelph Police went to a Bristol Street location for the report of a suspicious car in a parking lot. Police approached the vehicle but it attempted to get around the cruiser. Contact between the two vehicles occurred and the male driver exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot.

A subsequent search of the vehicle discovered stolen identity documents and stolen property.

Investigation has identified the man who is now wanted by police. The 34-year-old Guelph man is to be charged with fail to remain, four counts of possession of identity documents, two counts of possession of stolen property and two counts of breach of probation.
