Impaired charge in Puslinch after vehicle leaves road

TOWNSHIP OF PUSLINCH - On Feb. 25, 2022, at approximately 4 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle that had left the roadway and gone down an embankment on Maltby Road East, south of Guelph.

OPP and Guelph/Wellington Paramedic Services responded, and the driver was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

As a result of the investigation, Tyler Beaumont, 22 years old of Campbellville has been charged with Impaired Operation - 80 Plus (mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood).  

A 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph.
