K-9 track leads to arrest of break and enter suspect

On Dec. 4, 2018 at approximately 3:19 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a break and enter in progress to a business on Harvard Road. Uniform members, along with K-9 attended to the business and a K-9 track was conducted.

As a result of the K-9 track, evidence was obtained but the responsible party was not arrested at the time. Through investigation, police learned of the identity of the responsible person.

At approximately 8:06 p.m., Police arrested a 21-year-old Guelph male for break and enter, possession of stolen property obtained by crime, and breaching an undertaking.

The male is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 5, 2018.
