A Guelph male was warned about his conduct after causing a disturbance Tuesday at a downtown bank.

The male was inside the bank shortly before noon when he dropped a steak knife while searching for something in his backpack. Staff were concerned and asked the male to leave, but he got angry and began yelling at staff and throwing things around.

The 52-year-old Guelph male was located by police outside the bank and a 15-centimetre steak knife was seized. No charges were laid as the male did not do anything threatening with the knife, but he was trespassed from the bank.
