Major road closure after dump truck hits utility lines

No injuries have been reported

A traffic snarl near a major intersection after a dump truck knocked over utility lines in the area.

Guelph police said the call came in just after 3 p.m. Saturday for an incident on Woodlawn Road, near the intersection of Woolwich.

Police said a dump truck had its bucket up and took out lines just northeast of the intersection.

Police, firefighters and hydro and utility crews are on scene, and the roadway is closed at the major intersection.

Police said it was determimed the lines knocked down belong to Rogers.

It's not known when the roadway will reopen, but area businesses are still accessible.

No injuries have been reported.
