On the afternoon of Aug. 14, 2019, police received information about a male attempting to break in to a house near the downtown area of the city. Multiple officers quickly attended the scene and located a male trying to break in to the side door of the residence.
The male was subsequently arrested.
A 45-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:
- Attempt break and enter
- Breach probation x2
He will appear in court on Aug. 15, 2019.
