On the 14th of December, 2019 a disturbance between a male and female party was observed in the parking lot of a business, in the north end of the city of Guelph.

A physical altercation took place outside, and continued inside the business as the female attempted to run from her attacker. Once the attention of patrons inside the business was drawn, the male party fled the scene.

The female eventually exited the business and returned to her car, at which point she noticed that the rear passenger door had been freshly keyed.

On the 20th of December, 2019 the accused male party attended to the police station to turn himself in. The 32-year-old Kentville male was arrested for two counts of Assault, one count of Assault with a Weapon, and one count of Mischief. He was subsequently held pending a bail hearing.
