Man accused of going through vehicles faces numerous charges

On July 14, 2018 at approximately 5:28 a.m., Guelph Police were called to the area of Lonsdale Drive and June Avenue in regard to a male going through vehicles.

Police attended the area and located the (suspected) male responsible. As a result, Marc Robinette, a 50-year-old Guelph male, was arrested and charged with trespass by night, possession of a stolen credit card, possession of a prohibited weapon, and two counts of breaching his Probation Order. Robinette appeared in court on July 14, 2018.

Police recovered a bicycle in the area that is believed to be stolen. If you had your bicycle stolen in and around this time, please contact Cst. S. Ladouceur at 519-824-1212 ext. 7483 to possibly claim your bicycle.
