Man accused of sexually assaulting a woman while at the park with his grandson

Police say the 63-year-old man was at Riverside Park on Woolwich Street when he allegedly assaulted a woman

On July 26, 2019, at approximately 11 a.m. a male described as East Indian, 50-60 years old, 5’9”, thin build, wearing black sunglasses, grey shirt was at Riverside Park located at 709 Woolwich Street, with his young grandson. The male spoke with a slight Indian accent. 

While there, this male approached a female and [allegedly] sexually assaulted her. The female was not injured. Police were called and initiated an investigation. As a result, a 63-year-old male was arrested for sexual assault.
