Man charged after bricks thrown at cars downtown

A Guelph man faces charges after damaging several vehicles downtown Monday by throwing bricks and other items.

Just after 4 p.m., police received several calls about a man damaging vehicles on Quebec Street. Officers arrived within minutes and located the man, who attempted to walk away as police approached. He was placed under arrest and began yelling threats at the owners of the damaged vehicles.

A 30-year-old Guelph man is charged with mischief under $5,000 and uttering threats.
