A Guelph male faces charges after a stolen boat was discovered Wednesday at a south end home.
Just before 1 p.m., the police break enter auto theft unit attended an address in the area of Edinburgh Road South and Ironwood Road as part of a stolen vehicle investigation.
Officers discovered an aluminum fishing boat which had all of its identification and serial numbers removed. The boat’s trailer also had all its identifying marks removed.
A 32-year-old Guelph male is charged with possessing stolen property over $5,000. He will appear in a Guelph court March 22.
