A Guelph man faces charges after a police officer was kicked Tuesday morning, report Guelph police
Shortly after 9 a.m. police were called to a business on Woodlawn Road West for reports of a man harassing staff and customers. Investigation revealed he was on a bail order with a condition not to attend the business.
He was arrested for breaching the condition and transported to the police station, where he became irate and kicked one of the officers in the leg. The officer was not injured.
A 43-year-old is charged with failing to comply with a release order, breaching probation and assaulting a police officer. He was held for a bail hearing Thursday.
