Man faces 25 charges following south end arrest

On Thursday, Guelph police initiated an investigation into a stolen vehicle that was located in the parking lot of a south end residential building. As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old Guelph man was arrested without incident at the scene.

As soon as the man was identified, police discovered he was wanted on two separate warrants out of Guelph and three additional warrants throughout southwestern Ontario.

The man and the vehicle were searched and police located stolen property, identity documents and tools used in break and enters.

In total, the 29-year-old Guelph male was charged with 25 criminal offences, including possession of stolen property and break and enter.

He was held for a bail hearing.
