On July 25, 2019 GO Transit Special Constables initiated an investigation into property damage (graffiti) at the downtown GO station.
On July 26, 2019 a male seen on video causing the damage returned and Guelph police were called. Police arrived on scene and identified the suspect, not only from video, but also due to the fact that he signed his name to the graffiti.
A 37 year old Guelph man was arrested and charged with mischief and breaching his probation order.
