Guelph police are investigating after a man hid inside a business until it closed and then wandered around the store.
Officers were called Tuesday to a business on Stone Road West. They observed security video of a man in the store the previous evening and entering the washroom just after 10 p.m., approximately an hour before the store closed.
The man was observed on video exiting the washroom at 1:30 a.m. He wandered around the store, moving product including televisions and a bicycle before being observed by night cleaning staff. The man left the store and was seen leaving the parking lot in a dark-coloured vehicle.
