Guelph police say a number of files were taken from a north end business Tuesday after someone smashed a large window to gain entry.
Just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday police were called to the business on Woodlawn Road West. Staff had arrived to find a large window smashed. A review of surveillance video showed a man using a rock to smash a large window approximately 11:35 p.m. Monday. He rummaged around a desk and fled with a number of files.
The man is described as white, average height, heavy build with a short beard and possibly tattoos on his legs. He was wearing a black jacket, black shorts, light-coloured shoes and a dark baseball cap. He was last seen running westbound on Woodlawn Road.
